Ingredients:
- Rice
- Moong dal
- Onion
- Tomato
- Turmeric
- Salt
- Ghee.
How to make:
- Wash rice and dal together.
- Heat ghee in a pressure cooker with the addition of mustard, onion and tomato.
- Addition of rice, dal, salt, turmeric, and 3 cups of water.
- Cook for 2 whistles -- done!
Tip: Serve with pickle or papad.
3.Egg Curry
And you are an egg lover, you see--it's you dear!
Ingredients:
- Boiled eggs
- Onion
- Tomato
- Red Chilli Powder
- Turmeric Spring
- Garam masala
- Oil.
How to make:
- Heat oil, fry onion to the point of giving it a golden color.
- Add tomato and spices, cook until oil becomes separated.
- Add water in little amounts and drop in the boiled eggs.
- Let it cook 5 minutes and butter and eat with chapati or rice.
Pro Tip: To add more flavor, coconut milk 1tbsp is added toward the end.
Bonus Tip: Keep a few basics in your fridge — boiled rice, cut vegetables, and yogurt. This will make a quick dinner even quicker.
